In the latest issue of the IGSHPA Pipeline, Geo-Connections' Chuck Remund is highlighted for his recent work training IGSHPA trainers. Chuck's presentation covered the comprehensive set of presentations that Geo-Connections created on behalf of IGSHPA to help extend the Accredited Installer training course to include key portions the current Residential and Light Commercial (RLC) Design and Installation Manual that we wrote in 2009.
We undertook the process of creating the new curriculum nearly a year ago. Based on the RLC Design and Installation Manual, the new curriculum was built from the ground up and covers everything geo an Installer needs to know to succeed not just on the IGSHPA/NATE Accredited Geothermal Installer Exam, but in their day-to-day work.
The development of this content for IGSHPA is a prime example of our continued commitment to our training mission to:
"...produce and offer the highest quality educational resources and training opportunities available to the GSHP industry, because we believe that through education comes the success of the individual, and through the success of the individual, comes the success of our industry."
We'll keep working towards accomplishing this mission everyday through our work with IGSHPA, HeatSpring and the IGSHPA community of trainers.
